High Resolution Mapping
Using Imagery acquired at very low altitude with a rotary wing aircraft (helicopter), all visible features and DTM elements can be represented at horizontal and vertical precision that has been field checked at less than 0.05 feet. This is the most complete and accurate photogrammetric mapping available. I-TEN has also developed proprietary methods to collect high precision mapping from imagery obtained with a fixed wing platform at a precision of 0.1 feet on hard surfaces. This method is often enough for transportation design and can be a more cost/schedule effective approach.
